The most common question is why we started this service?

Safety of course, but education mostly.  Driving has become more stressful over the past few years.  Road Rage, distactions, cell phone use, drivers just doing whatever they fell because there are no police around.  Our service provides a report to the violation(s) with the goal the driver corrects their habits before crash, or worse.

 

What has your service recorded?

Almost every imaginable violation has been seen.  Most reports will include more than one violation.   We randomly select routes and record what we see, report on what we observe and hope that each report will lead to a drive correcting their habits and become a safer driver.

 

Do reports have an enforcement component?

No, there is no enforcement aspect to reports.  We do not work with law enforcement, and no reports are provided to police.  We simply record, create the record, run the database, and provide reports to our members.

What happens if I do not become a member but see my license plate on the site?

The record will be available to any member.  We do not know the owner of the license plate, so any member can gain the report for their use.

 

Anyone can access my license plate report?

Any member can certainly obtain our report(s) for the violations.  It could be your boss, spouse, parent, ex, lawyers, etc.  If you are driving for rideshare for example, there could be a record there.   Uses possible are employers, prospective employers, rideshare, attorneys, insurance companies, and any group or individual that would want to know how you drive.

 

Insurance companies can use this site?

If they have your license plate and an active membership, insurance companies can run report(s) on your license plate to see how you are driving.  We are only the custodian of the database, we do not determine who has access, except our members.   It is not just insurance companies that can obtain a driving record of your license plate - rental car companies as well.  If you borrow your friend's car, they can check too.  Border Patrol can access the database as well.  

As a member, can I keep my license plate from being placed on the site?

A program to keep your license plate from being logged into the report system is available.  It is annual and the cost associated with that is on our pricing page

 

How is the Membership money used?

To support the data entry process to generate reports, for the upkeep of vehicles on the road, expenses for the vehicles on the road, support operations for the webpage, personnel, technology to establish the reports and needs to expand services to other areas.

 

How can my company use this service?

We do have a corporate program for companies with vehicles in their fleet.  Should companies wish to establish fleet observations of their drivers in the field, please refer to the BUSINESS page for details and prices.  It will permit the owners to receive reports of their drivers operating in the field, with company vehicles.   Prices will be determined by fleet size, and how many days a week they request coverage.
